1. Journal #8: Point-of-View
Imagine you are Boo Radley at the end of Chapter 8. Using his voice, write a diary entry of what is happening from his pov. Include specific encounters with the children. (Think about Boo’s diction based on what we know about him.)
2. Got back theme grades.
3. Discussed symbolism (mud/snowman, snow, fire, bird instincts) and foreshadowing (fire vs. snow, Uncle Jack’s unjust punishment) in TKM.
4. Brainstormed 6 adjectives for a “good” father in groups.
WE WERE ASSIGNED:
1. Read Chapters 10-11 and complete corresponding study guide questions.
2. Put post-it notes in the novel where Atticus exhibits traits of a “good” father.
